Lobster Dinner P.E.I. Style

Nothing beats fresh PEI lobster right off the boat!

Start your experience with an optional trip to the wharf. Meet the lobster boat and watch them unload the days catch. We will choose our lobsters then hop aboard the boat to take a short ride from Machon Point to Murray Harbour. While on board you will learn about the boat, how to measure, grade and sex the lobsters.

Back home, together we will prepare the lobster for your feast. Learn the secrets of how to best prepare and cook the lobster.

Just before you sit down to your appetizer we will drop the lobsters in the pot so they can steam while you enjoy your succulent world famous PEI blue mussels. The mussels are steamed in white wine and topped off with a marinara sauce. If you wish, you can take home our recipes for PEI Mussels in Marinara sauce and drunken mussels. Mussels are served with garlic toast.

While you are enjoying your mussels we will pass on some mussel trivia and information on how the mussels are farmed in the rivers around PEI.

Then on to the best part! Lobster. The lobster will be served in Island tradition with potato salad, coleslaw, and fresh rolls. For the inexperienced we will give you tips on how to tackle the chore of getting at the scrumptious meat. Finish off your dinner with a surprise dessert.
